Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use. This course is intended for those not healthcare. If you are in the healthcare field please select Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR/AED.

Heartsaver CPR AED is geared for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

This course certification and card is meant for K-12 school students, faculty, and staff who successfully complete an AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Heartsaver CPR AED, or Heartsaver First Aid Course. School ID required if registering for this discounted course. All minors must be accompanied by their parent of legal guardian

The AHA Basic Life Support (Heartsaver), (BLS) or (ACLS) Instructor Course is designed to train instructor candidates to teach BLS courses to healthcare professionals and other learners. This course provides the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively conduct, manage, and evaluate (Heartsaver), (BLS) or (ACLS) training sessions, ensuring high-quality CPR education and life-saving skills Instructor course options: (1) Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED Instructor- non healthcare (2) Basic Life Support Instructor- healthcare and non healthcare (3) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor- healthcare professionals normally RT, RN, NP, Critical Care, Paramedics and Physicians. Course Format: Blended Learning: The  (Heartsaver), (BLS) or (ACLS) Instructor Course includes an online portion called the BLS Instructor Essentials Course, followed by an in-person, instructor-led session. This format allows candidates to complete the online training at their own pace before attending the in-person session, where they will practice teaching skills and evaluation techniques. Instructor-Led Session: During the in-person session, candidates engage in practice teaching, learn about course delivery, and receive feedback on their performance. The session emphasizes hands-on practice and classroom management skills. What You’ll Learn: Instructor Essentials: Understanding your role, teaching methods, and how to engage students effectively in learning (Heartsaver), (BLS) or (ACLS) skills. Course Delivery Techniques: Learn to conduct (Heartsaver), (BLS) or (ACLS) classes using AHA materials, including videos, skill checklists, and practice equipment. Skill Evaluation and Feedback: Develop the ability to assess student skills, provide constructive feedback, and ensure that students meet AHA standards.
